The most commonly hired entry roles are SEO Executive, Social Media Executive, Performance Marketing Executive, Content Writer and Video Editor. Employers hire on demonstrated work far more than on degrees — a portfolio of live campaigns is the single strongest signal.
The main digital marketing roles
"Digital marketing" is not one job. It is a set of distinct specialisations that happen to share a label, and picking one deliberately is the fastest route in.

What actually gets a fresher hired
Having sat on both sides of these interviews, the pattern is consistent. Certificates are a tiebreaker at best. What moves a hiring manager is evidence: an ad account you ran, a page you ranked, a channel you grew, with numbers attached.
That is a deliberate design choice in our course — every module produces artefacts you can show, and the final month is a live-projects capstone specifically so students leave with a portfolio rather than a completion certificate.
